Our before and after school program is designed to support learning, responsibility, and social development in a structured yet engaging environment. Children ages 6 to 10 will have dedicated time for homework, group activities, and outdoor play, all while building essential life skills such as time management, prioritization, and teamwork.
"The program is balanced with opportunities for children to eat a healthy snack, finish homework, and play outside daily."
We understand that parents need a reliable and enriching program where their children can continue learning beyond the school day. Our program provides:
Dedicated time and a quiet space to complete homework with guidance from staff.
Engaging games and social activities help children develop teamwork, responsibility, and leadership.
Daily outdoor activities, including group games, jump rope, and sports, encourage active play.
A nutritious snack is provided every day to keep kids energized.
We offer safe and reliable transportation to and from local neighborhood schools, including afternoon van service from Newport Heights Elementary to Newport Children's School. There is no additional charge for transportation to or from these public schools.
Our program teaches time management and prioritization skills in a supportive environment. By balancing homework, structured activities, and free play, children learn responsibility, practice decision-making, and develop strong social skills that prepare them for future academic and personal success.

Families experience deep comfort knowing they can rely on Newport Children's School as an important part of their child's life.
